Common questions
Event planning FAQ
How far in advance should I book event planning?
Two weeks minimum for smaller events; four to six weeks for larger weddings, corporate events, or multi-day reunions. The earlier you book, the more vendor flexibility you have. If you also need bounce house rentals, booking early is especially important for peak weekends.
What size events do you handle?
From intimate dinners of 10 guests to multi-day family reunions of 200 plus. Aricka has personally run a three-day family reunion for 200 people across multiple Chicago venues, including a meet-and-greet at a five-star downtown hotel and a full day at Six Flags Great America.
Do you travel outside Champaign County?
Yes. Our base is Champaign County, but we have planned events in Chicago and the surrounding region. Travel fees may apply for events outside our standard service area. Contact us and we will let you know what is feasible.
How is pricing structured?
Pricing varies based on the services you select and the size of your event. Some clients want full planning from start to finish; others just want vendor coordination or day-of management. Request a quote and we will walk you through the options specific to your event.
What is the difference between full planning and day-of coordination?
Full planning means we handle everything from concept to cleanup: vision, vendors, timeline, and day-of execution. Day-of coordination means you have already planned the event yourself, and we run the floor on the day so you can be present with your guests. We offer both. If you are planning a birthday party and want help with just the day itself, that is also an option.
